EuBI partner in RITrain - The Research Infrastructure Training Programme

Euro-BioImaging takes part in the Horizon 2020 project RItrain that started in September 2015. The objective of the project is to develop a training programme enabling research infrastructures across all domains to gain expertise on governance, organisation, financial and staff management, funding, IP, service provision and outreach in an international context.

First, the project will define competencies required by the research infrastructures and map currently available training in the management of research infrastructures. Based on the gap analysis, the RItrain will design a modular master curriculum for research infrastructure management. The RItrain will serve primarily professionals already working in research infrastructures (e.g. directors, coordinators, senior project managers, legal representatives) but will also aim at providing qualification for future leaders of research infrastructures.

The consortium consists of 12 research infrastructures and is led by the BBMRI-ERIC. Euro-BioImaging is represented by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
