Euro-BioImaging - ELIXIR Image Data Strategy

On June 11th, Euro-BioImaging and ELIXIR published a joint collaboration strategy on image data to support access to biological image data and link it to biomolecular data. This collaboration is an important example of two European research infrastructures joining up their technical strategies, which they now look forward to implement in practice. Biological image data is a rapidly changing field and this collaboration strategy will be continuously updated as the two infrastructures develop and as their user needs change over the years.

ELIXIR is the pan-European research infrastructure for biomolecular data. Its goal is to orchestrate the collection, quality control and archiving of large amounts of biological data produced by life science experiments and to provide access to world-leading data, compute, tools, standards, training and industry services. You will find more information on ELIXIR at
