The Global BioImaging project launches its third and final Shadowing Program for imaging facility staff!

11.01.2018

After the success of the first two rounds of the Gloval BioImaging shadowing program, with 14 people travelling to international imaging facilities on 2017 and 2018, the Global BioImaging project consortium is proud to announce that the third open call of job shadowing for imaging facility staff is now open!

In Europe, this third call is extended to all European (not only Euro-BioImaging)  imaging facility staff who wish to visit one of the Indian or Australian hosting facilities belonging to the Global BioImaging Project Network. Thus,  Australian and Indian imaging facilities staff members within the network (Australian National Imaging Facility, Australian Microscopy & Microanalysis Research Facility, India-BioImaging) and all European staff members who wish to make a period of job shadowing at one of the GBI hosting facilities can now apply to the program and receive one of the available travel grants. A limited number of grants is available for this last round, and, according to EC rules, priority will be given to European staff.

The shadowing visits are foreseen to take place during the first half of 2018.
