Cryo fluorescence microscopy

Cryo fluorescence microscopy describes a fluorescence microscopy modality where imaging is performed under cryogenic conditions on samples that underwent cryo-fixation, such as plunge-freezing. This method can be especially useful as a correlative modality in combination with cryo electron microscopy.
