Elemental analysis Correlative Light and Electron Microscopy (EDX-CLEM)*

Light microscopy helps to identify features in ultrastructural maps, but does not have EM resolution, therefore light and electron microscopy are correlated and in EDX-CLEM, also combined with Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) to allow for simultaneous and correlated elemental detection.
