About the Event
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming life science imaging, creating new opportunities across the entire research workflow, from access to imaging technologies and automated data acquisition to advanced image analysis, multimodal data integration, and AI-ready FAIR datasets.
This online event will showcase how European research infrastructures, projects, and scientific communities are deploying AI to accelerate biological and biomedical research. Through presentations from leading experts and representatives of major European initiatives, participants will gain insights into real-world applications of AI, emerging technologies, and future directions for AI-enabled imaging.
The event is organised by Euro-BioImaging ERIC as part of the European AI Innovation Month, running from the 24th of October to the 17th of November 2026.

Participants will discover how AI is being applied throughout the life science imaging pipeline. Together, these initiatives demonstrate how coordinated European investments in AI, data, and research infrastructures are accelerating scientific discovery and innovation.
