Euro-BioImaging is delighted to announce an upcoming workshop on Friday, 27th February 2026, at 10:00 CET under the frame of the EVOLVE project (GA 101130986) and the Euro-BioImaging Remote Access and Sustainability Expert group. The workshop will highlight ComplexEye, a next-generation microscopy technology that combines high-throughput imaging, artificial intelligence, and energy efficiency to transform the study of living cells.

Developed by Prof Dr Matthias Gunzer and his team of researchers at University Duisburg-Essen and the Leibniz Institute ISAS in Dortmund, ComplexEye integrates 16 microscopes into a single system (with 96 planned), enabling the simultaneous tracking of hundreds of immune cells over time. These images are combined into time-lapse videos that reveal cell movement and behavior with unprecedented detail.

Join us to discover the ComplexEye technology, its scientific applications, and its role in shaping a more efficient and sustainable future for biomedical research.
