If you are attending FENS 2026 in Barcelona, why not join the EBRAINS Symposium: “Accelerating Your Neuroscience Research through the European Research Infrastructures" ? It will take place on 5 July in Barcelona, Spain, as a FENS 2026 Satellite Event.

The aim of the event is to showcase concrete, ready-to-use scientific applications of EBRAINS and other European Research Infrastructures (RIs) through use cases developed by Infrastructures and their National Nodes, and demonstrate how researchers can directly apply data, tools, and workflows developed by EBRAINS and other RIs in their own neuroscience projects.

The programme includes presentations (use cases) from several of the EBRAINS Nodes as well as invited talks from Euro-BioImaging Director General John Eriksson and EATRIS's Director General Anton Ussi. Euro-BioImaging's Med-Hub Section Linda Chaabane will also attend.

Who should attend?

The event is open to neuroscientists at all career stages (PhD students, postdocs, PIs),
clinicians, data scientists, and platform engineers interested in multimodal datasets, brain atlases, modelling, neuroimaging workflows, and cross-European research infrastructures.
