Please join us on Wednesday, June 25, at 13:00 CEST, for a webinar featuring the VRoot system.
Understanding how plant roots grow and function is essential for advancing sustainable agriculture, yet root systems remain one of the most elusive components to study. This event showcases VRoot, a novel Virtual Reality (VR) application designed to revolutionize how researchers analyze and reconstruct Root System Architectures (RSAs).
Traditionally limited by destructive sampling or complex imaging challenges, RSA analysis is now entering a new era with immersive 3D visualization tools. VRoot leverages the power of modern XR/VR technologies to enable intuitive, precise, and non-destructive root analysis, bridging the gap between plant imaging data and functional modeling.

We will welcome Dr. Dirk Baker from the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research-UFZ who will introduce us to the VRoot system and its application for manual root system architecture reconstruction.
Join us to explore how this cutting-edge tool is transforming root research and unlocking new possibilities in plant science.
