The Tech Exchange is back after the summer with a presentation by our Industry Board member Oxford Instruments Andor.

Aisha Sivakumar will talk about "Accelerating Cancer Biology with Oxford Instruments BC43".

Oxford Instruments BC43 is a high-performance multi-modal imaging platform. It is predominantly a spinning disk confocal microscope but allows imaging in widefield, confocal and super-resolution imaging modalities. In this talk we will present the key features of the BC43 that make it a suitable tool to study cancer biology. We will emphasise the specific advantages of this technology for 3D imaging and show examples of how it has been used to study various model organisms to push the boundaries of cancer research.
