Community Data Initiatives
We empower the imaging community to create, share, and advance FAIR, open image data through coordination and policy support as well as shaping guidelines and openly available tools. Our data services for the broader imaging community are underpinned by numerous European data-centric initiatives, including those associated with the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). Discover how collaborative efforts across Europe and beyond are shaping a more connected and open image data community and join a growing network dedicated to making bioimage data more open, discoverable and impactful for everyone.
Representation in the European Open Science Cloud and EU projects
Euro-BioImaging represents needs and interests of the image data community towards European funding and policy agencies through its membership in the EOSC-Association and its task forces. Euro-BioImaging is proud to be part this initiative, ensuring that biological & bioimaging data stay high on the EOSC agenda to ensure future funding and resources.
We also raise the visibility of image data research by participating in various cross-domain data projects, that build shared data infrastructures and platforms, develop common standards and strengthen connections between imaging and other scientific domains.
Coordination of community ecosystems
Euro-BioImaging facilitates the creation of collaborative ecosystems across different imaging communities, aligning resources, standards and efforts the strengthen the bioimaging landscape across Europe and beyond.
