The Advanced Optical Microscopy Centre (AOMC) at University of Hasselt, part of Euro-BioImagingโs Flanders BioImaging Node, is happy to host Jessica Aye Valdivia Pรฉrez from Centro de Investigaciones en Quรญmica Biolรณgica de Cรณrdoba (CIQUIBIC), Argentina,ย for a series ofย ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฒ๐
๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐. Her visit is funded by Global BioImagingโs Imaging 4 All initative, which supports researchers from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) in accessing advanced imaging technologies.
Jessica's research (funded by CONICET) focuses on how amphiphilic drugs interact with lipid membranes using advanced fluorescence techniques to uncover their biophysical mechanisms of action and guide future therapeutic design. Her visit is a great example of how open-access imaging infrastructures can foster global scientific exchange.ย
Where international collaboration meets cutting-edge microscopy
