To advance the understanding of cancer and accelerate ground-breaking discoveries and their translation into clinical applications, the canSERV consortium invites cancer researchers world-wide to apply for free access to cutting-edge research services, such as the imaging services provided by Euro-BioImaging.
In line with the EU Cancer Mission, canSERV aims to improve the comprehension of cancer and drivers of formation, malignancy and prognosis to eventually develop more effective cancer therapies. To support this, a budget of 750.000 € is available for the current Challenge-driven Call for Service Provision. Projects submitted to this call should encompass various aspects related to advancing the understanding of cancer which may address, but are not limited to:
Addressing cancer with poor prognosis
Cancer and inflammation ;
Identification of new modifiable cancer risk factors
canSERV offers more than 400 innovative cancer research services, including a wide range of imaging services provided by 28 Euro-BioImaging Nodes, ranging from electron and light microscopy, to preclinical and clinical imaging, image analysis and medical image data services.
In this Challenge-driven Call, a minimum of two services from the canSERV Service Catalogue should be requested. The services can be requested for research proposals via the canSERV project website - https://www.canserv.eu/calls/.
In addition to imaging services, the 13 European Life Science Research Infrastructures in canSERV provide services in the following fields:
Disease models
Advanced technologies for personalised oncology
