The FoundingGIDE Preclinical Stream, in collaboration with Euro-BioImaging and international partners, has launched a new survey to support the development of PRISM (PReclinical Imaging Standardized Metadata) a metadata model for sharing Preclinical Imaging Datasets.
The survey aims to gather expert input on which metadata should be considered mandatory or optional to improve the findability, interoperability, reproducibility, and reuse of preclinical imaging data in line with FAIR principles.
The survey takes approximately 20 minutes and is intended for researchers, imaging scientists, facility staff, data stewards, and professionals working with preclinical imaging data.
All responses will be treated confidentially, analyzed only in aggregate form, and handled in compliance with GDPR regulations. Participation is voluntary and participants may withdraw at any time.
Please share the survey widely within the imaging community. We really appreciate contributions from the international community as they will greatly help shape future standards for preclinical imaging data sharing and reuse.
