Marc van Zandvoort, “What is Euro-BioImaging?”

Published July 23, 2023

What is Euro-BioImaging? What is open access to imaging? As part of a series spotlighting Euro-BioImaging Nodes, we asked Marc van Zandvoort, Chair of the Panel of Nodes, and coordinator of the AMMI-Maastricht Node, to explain what it means to be part of Euro-BioImaging and offer open-access to imaging technologies & expertise.

His answer makes it clear: it’s about giving researchers in Europe - and beyond - the opportunity to use top-notch imaging instrumentation. Furthermore, Euro-BioImaging connects imaging core facility staff across Europe to learn from each other for the benefit of European research.

At Euro-BioImaging's AMMI Maastricht Node, researchers from all backgrounds and institutions can apply to use the state-of-the-art imaging equipment. Learn more about their offer
