NGFF-Cafe is an online community event focusing on the latest developments in the in the NGFF/OME-Zarr space. Each session features a presentation from a community member on topics ranging from spec updates and new tools to real-world data management workflows. Everyone is welcome: developers, scientists, facility engineers, and curious newcomers alike.
• Specification discussions and updates to the OME-Zarr / NGFF standard
• New tools and libraries (demos welcome)
• Real-world workflows, use cases, and data management stories
The first session will take place online on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 11 am CEST. We are delighted to welcome Josh Moore, German BioImaging, for a talk entitled "OME-Zarr Roadmap: Recent Community Outcomes, v0.6 and Future Directions."
