Euro-BioImaging at OME26: Shaping the Future of Open Imaging Data

Published May 29, 2026

The OME2026 Community Meeting, held from 28.04.2026 to 30.04.2026 in Düsseldorf and online, brought together developers, imaging scientists and data experts from across the globe for an exchange on the present and future of the OME community.

Members of the Euro-BioImaging Data Team contributed actively throughout the meeting with flash talks, posters, and hands-on workshops. These contributions showcased how Euro-BioImaging is integrating OME tools to support FAIR data practices, while also participating in the ongoing development and refinement of these tools. This dual role - both as users and contributors of OME - highlights Euro-BioImaging’s commitment to advancing open, collaborative bioimaging infrastructure.
