The Euro-BioImaging Annual Report 2025 is now online! It shares our highlights from 2025, from expanding our community to strengthening our impact, and preparing our infrastructure for the future of imaging, image data, and AI-ready research.

We are proud of another year of working together to provide researchers with open access to cutting-edge imaging technologies, expertise, image data services, and training, enabling excellent science and innovation across Europe and beyond.

What's in our Annual Report?

In 2025, our infrastructure continued to expand with the addition of three new Nodes, bringing Euro-BioImaging to 39 Nodes and 295 imaging facilities across Europe. We celebrated continued growth in user access, with more than 1,200 user requests recorded through the Euro-BioImaging Access Portal and 915 user projects underway by the end of the year.

The report takes a closer look at Euro-BioImaging’s impact with regards to user access, data initiatives, training, and science policy, and shows how Euro-BioImaging is evolving to become a leading European infrastructure with even deeper collaborations with other research infrastructures, industry, and international partners.

As always, our Annual Report showcases inspiring user stories, technological innovations, highlights from our Nodes, and the many EU-funded projects helping to shape the future of Euro-BioImaging.
