Euro-BioImaging is pleased to announce the addition of JEOL Ltd. to its Industry Board. JEOL Ltd. is a leading global manufacturer of electron microscopes and other scientific instruments. The company contributes to scientific and technological advancements in fields such as life science, materials science, and nanotechnology.
The Euro-BioImaging Industry Board (EBIB) serves as a crucial link between imaging technology providers, researchers, and imaging facilities. Its mission is to identify and address the needs of the Euro-BioImaging community, fostering collaboration and driving innovation in the life sciences.
"We are delighted to welcome JEOL Ltd. to the Euro-BioImaging Industry Board," said Claudia Pfander, Industry Board Coordinator. " Electron microscopy, alone or in combination with other imaging technologies, is among the most demanded services at Euro-BioImaging, and JEOL Ltd. are one of the main providers of cutting-edge electron microscopy solutions. They will bring valuable expertise and perspectives to the Board and interaction with our Nodes.”
A recent collaboration between JEOL and Euro-BioImaging on a joint training workshop on remote access for electron microscopy demonstrated the company’s commitment to engage directly with electron microscopy community and paved the way for their EBIB membership.
"By joining EBIB, we aim to foster partnerships, share expertise, and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art imaging solutions that will enhance research capabilities and improve outcomes in the life sciences," says Sarah Harper, General Manager Sales at JEOL Ltd.
JEOL Ltd. has joined the EBIB already in January 2025 and will present themselves to the Euro-BioImaging community in a Tech Exchange webinar on 25 April 2025.

We are looking forward to a fruitful collaboration!
