Julia Fernandez-Rodriguez, “What is Euro-BioImaging?”

Published July 24, 2023

What is Euro-BioImaging? What is open access to imaging? As part of a series spotlighting Euro-BioImaging Nodes, we asked Julia Fernandez-Rodriguez, Head of the Centre of Cellular Imaging, an imaging core facility at the University of Gothenburg, part of our Swedish NMI Node, to tell us what open access to imaging means to researchers, but also  to facilities.

Her answer makes it clear: It’s about transparency, democratising access to high-end imaging instruments, and creating opportunities for visibility and collaboration!

All of the imaging technologies and expertise available at Swedish NMI Node are open to all researchers. Learn more about Swedish NMI.
