A new online platform to connect researchers, infrastructures, and funders to accelerate AI scientific discovery across Europe
Dublin, Ireland, 15 October
Researchers across Europe now have a single place to find the people, data, computing power, and expertise they need to put AI to work on science’s biggest challenges. Today (15th October 2026) RAISE, the Resource for AI Science in Europe, launches the RAISE Hub. The Hub brings together information, initiatives and communities on AI in science in one shared space and opens two connected services: the RAISE Forum for collaboration and the RAISE Observatory for mapping the European AI in science landscape.
Currently in its pilot phase, RAISE is coordinated by the SCIANCE project. Through a community-driven approach, SCIANCE brings together scientists, AI researchers, infrastructures and policymakers to identify strategic scientific challenges for which AI can have the greatest impact and accelerate the adoption of trustworthy and sustainable AI methods for scientific research across Europe. Through the Hub, users can access the RAISE Forum to exchange knowledge and collaborate, and the RAISE Observatory to explore the European AI in Science ecosystem.
“Europe has a unique opportunity to bring together its scientific excellence, data and computing capacity, identify shared community priorities and build the momentum needed for a competitive yet sustainable use of AI in science. RAISE will succeed only with the active involvement of the research community. We invite researchers across all disciplines to join us and help shape the future of AI-enabled science in Europe.” - Jonas L’Haridon, SCIANCE Coordinator, ESF
Researchers across Europe are invited to connect with RAISE through the following pathways:
Explore the RAISE Hub, access the Forum and Observatory, join the community and help shape the future of AI in Science in Europe.
