SEE-LIFE Funding for imaging projects in Italy

Published September 16, 2025

We are delighted to announce that the MultiModal Molecular Imaging Italian Node and the Advanced Light Microscopy (ALM) Italian Node are providing free-of-charge access to cutting-edge imaging technologies under the SEELIFE project (PNRR – NextGenerationEU - Project “StrEngthEning the ItaLIan InFrastructure of Euro-BioImaging – SEE LIFE” IR0000023, CUP 24C660A8, financed by the Italian Ministry of University and Research). This initiative aims to foster international collaboration by providing free-of-charge access to cutting-edge imaging technologies for biomedical, pharmaceutical, and life science research.

This opportunity is open to all researchers - and the application deadline has been extended until November 30 for projects in facilities where budget remains. Applications must successfully pass both scientific and technical evaluations according to the Euro-BioImaging user access procedure and receive final approval by the SEELIFE Technical and Scientific Committee. Evaluations are evaluated on a first come, first served basis. Projects must be completed by March 31, 2026.
