We are looking for a Scientific Project Manager to join the Euro-BioImaging Med-Hub team in Torino (Italy) in the heart of the Italian Alps. The successful candidate will work with the Euro-BioImaging Hub Teams located in Turku (Finland) and at the EMBL in Heidelberg (Germany) and collaborate with our community of 41 Nodes around Europe, operating under the supervision of an experienced Project Manager.

This position is a grant position supported by the EVOLVE project. Key activities include: 

  • Managing and coordinating training activities for Hub and Nodes
  • Engaging with the nodes and Hubs to better understand their training needs
  • Identifying gaps in the training needs of the European Imaging community
  • Analysing the current landscape of training courses in Europe
  • Collaborating with all on growing training activities and improving their visibility
  • Engaging in Community building
  • Contributing to the further development of the Euro-BioImaging infrastructure

Administrative details & timeline

The appointment will be a temporal research contract (assegno di ricerca) with the National Research Council in Italy (www.cnr.it ), financially supported by an EU-funded project started in March 2024. National and international travel will be required occasionally for the purpose of meeting with internal and external stakeholders.
