Touring Austrian BioImaging

Published October 14, 2025

In 2024, Euro-BioImaging’s Scientific Ambassador, Magdalena Schindler, took a scientific journey to her hometown. Accompanied by Baubak Bajoghli, Managing Director of Austrian BioImaging, she dove into the rich and collaborative imaging landscape in Vienna, Austria, and produced a short video to share her impressions.

With this video, get to know Austrian BioImaging through Lena’s eyes. Meet the extraordinary people whose expertise and dedication support excellent science across scales and fields:  the imaging scientists, image data analysts and technology developers, who are pushing the boundaries and making scientific advancements everyday. Take a behind the scenes glimpse at the facilities and the technologies that are available in open access to all researchers when they apply via Austrian BioImaging/Euro-BioImaging. Watch the video for a lasting impression of the openness and passion of the people making  Austrian BioImaging’s mission become reality.

Thank you to all who participated in this fantastic video!
