We are excited to announce that Euro-BioImaging is now accepting applications for its 2026-2027 Scientific Ambassador program. This program will raise awareness about the services and opportunities provided by Euro-BioImaging, by engaging with new user communities.
Through their advocacy and engagement, Scientific Ambassadors help foster a greater understanding of Euro-BioImaging services, making imaging technologies more accessible for researchers and creating opportunities for collaboration, scientific advancement, and innovation in the field of bioimaging.
In return, Euro-BioImaging supports the Scientific Ambassadors, offering them training, visibility, growth, and networking opportunities. In addition, travel grants are available to the second cohort of Scientific Ambassadors, to support their outreach and awareness raising activities.
The third cohort of Scientific Ambassadors will be selected by a panel of Euro-BioImaging Hub team members in February 2026, and they will serve as ambassadors for a full year (until March 2027). Supported by the EVOLVE project, the third cohort of Scientific Ambassadors will be able to pitch for travel grants to support their outreach efforts (up to 1,500 euros per person).
If you are passionate about imaging and eager to make a positive impact, please consider applying to this programme. Early Career Researchers, students and young scientists living in Europe or Euro-BioImaging member country are encouraged to apply. For more information and to apply, please visit our webpage. Application deadline is January 30, 2026. Successful applicants will be notified by February 16, 2026.
